Known as Vinicunca, a word originating from Peru's native tongue, Quechua, translates to colored mountain. The mountain is famed for its natural multi-colored rainbow-like appearance created by sediments of minerals throughout the area giving the mountain vibrate colors such as turquoise, lavender and gold.
